Dogs

Most of us can say we love dogs and the joy that they bring whether we are owners or not. Abbeyparkng was sorry to learn of an unfortunate event yesterday when, unfortunately (and I quote) "I was charged at by an unleashed large dog". The person in question was quite rightly upset by this incident and has since suffered aches and pains and has taken time off work.

There is no evidence of where the dog owner actually lives, it may not be Abbey Park and there is no blanket law requiring dogs to be kept on a lead in public spaces according to Blue Cross. It's a tricky situation, dog owners need to train their dogs for recall and give them sufficient exercise and no dog owner would want their dog to frighten anyone.

If you have a dog, please make sure you are always aware of what your dog is doing and where they are as not everyone feels safe around.
