- Help needed on our Wildflower patches!
If either you or your family would like to help, please contact Wendy King via the Abbey Park Local Facebook Page. The jobs that need doing are: 1) Cutting the turf lengths and rolling them into manageable rolls 2) Wheelbarrowing the rolls from area 1 to areas 2 3) Unrolling the turf and laying it upside down on the existing long grass in the designated area. 4) Forking over the bare soil in area one. 5) Planting of wildflowers seedlings from trays and from seeds. It is half term next week and we really want this to be a community venture and to get as many families and children involved on the planting, so please do let Wendy King know when where and how you would like to help. 🙏
